DBS is looking for a talented leader to join our Business Transformation team as we make the shift to a process ownership model, focused on driving process improvements and automation globally. Reporting to the DBS PMDA Manager, the PMDA Lead is responsible for leading the Performance Management & Data Analytics team with the goal of providing reporting solutions, analytics and business insight to assist senior executives and upper management teams to better plan, predict, and understand business trends. The PMDA Lead will play a key support role in driving continuous improvement and standardization across the PMDA Reporting and Analytics function, from a people, process, and technology perspective.

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting using Power BI software and other reporting tools
  • Lead the Performance Management & Data Analytics team to ensure high-quality reports are delivered timely.
  • Provide analysis and insight to advance existing performance management structures such as Scorecards, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Defines requirements, builds and / or acquires information to develop reporting and data analytics, establish data in data warehouses,  partnering with technology and infrastructure partners;
  • Supports ad-hoc analysis on themes that arise at senior management’s request and/or through proactive research of potential issues
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and/or Automation initiatives to design new or re-engineer existing financial or business processes which drive business transformation
  • Coordinate and engage with key stakeholder groups across the SSC, Global and Local/BU functional teams. Support change management and communication efforts for critical transformation projects

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred
  • 10+ years professional finance, BPO (SSC), business analytics, Financial Planning and reporting, performance management reporting, and/or any other related experience
  • Must have 5+ years of leadership experience (supervisory or management experience)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist on decision making
  • Data savvy, comfortable navigating and organizing unstructured data
  • Must be able to understand and present technical matters in a way that is meaningful to the audience, delineating between what’s nice versus important
  • Solid organizational and planning skills, bright, with a strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail, skilled in the graphical representation of complex data
  • Self-starter, must be able to work under limited supervision, to effectively plan and manage multiple projects and milestones
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build relationships across multiple businesses, functions and geographies at both junior and senior levels Understanding of Finance processes an advantage
  • Experience using reporting/business intelligence tools such as MS Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, SAP BI, Servcie Now, or the like

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Self-directed, positive and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with suppliers, internal customers and coworkers; fully observe Dover’s Code of Ethical Conduct, Employee Handbook “Personal Conduct of Employees” policies and ISO Quality System Standards
