Our products

Dyad's Platform: Dyad's products are founded upon our Semantic AI platform, which enables payers and providers to access cutting-edge AI capabilities for their own use cases and applications. Primary care operations: Dyad develops a suite of products for healthcare operations, including:

• BetterLetter, our AI tool helping practices decrease their admin burden in processing clinical letters. We use this to reduce staff time spent identifying codes to be applied to the record as well as suggesting follow-up tasks and workflow optimisations. BetterLetter helps providers save time, save cost, improve performance under audit and build staffing resilience.

The role

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join our Data Science group as an AI developer to help develop the technology behind our BetterLetter product. This is a role for a software engineer who wants to work in an AI team, not a data scientist - the focus is on high quality code delivering AI systems, not model building or algorithm development. The ideal person for this role would be someone with senior-level or great Python skills along with experience working in data science / AI teams and knowledge of current AI technologies including NLP and generative AI. We will also consider very strong developers looking for their first role working directly with an AI or data science team and getting hands-on experience. The position is only open to candidates living and working in the UK and is a hybrid role combining in-office collaboration in our London office mixed with remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-based solutions in collaboration with our Data Science and Engineering teams.
• Work with data scientists to productionise and integrate models into working systems
• Work closely with our Product and Primary Care Operations teams to learn about the domain and deliver solutions that maximise our internal and external customer value.
• Deliver high-quality and robust code in a challenging integration domain (healthcare systems).

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 5 years of commercial Python experience, including a proven track record of production solutions in use.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar quantiative STEM discipline with a heavy focus.
• A strong ability to work independently in a new and complex domain.
• Very strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in an AI or data science-driven company, including experience with current NLP and GenAI technologies, including experience with industry standard tools like scikit-learn, deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
• Healthcare experience, or experience in another highly regulated industry such as finance with strong data protection requirements.
• Experience with graph theory, knowledge representation, and graph database technologies.

Our hiring process

The hiring process for this role involves:

• A short introductory call
• A technical interview with the data science team of 1 hour.
• 2-3 meetings of 30 minutes each to give you a chance to meet members of the wider Dyad team.
