Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Collibra’s Engineering Operations team leads program and release management and supports all operational functions in support of our Product & Engineering organizations. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze our operations and processes and work with stakeholders to recommend improvements to drive efficiency, quality and scale.

You will be reporting to the VP of Engineering Operations and working primarily with stakeholders across all functions in Product & Engineering. You will also be collaborating closely with other Business and Data Intelligence Analysts across Collibra to develop a culture of data-driven decision making.

Business Intelligence Analysts at Collibra are responsible for

• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to define key performance indicators and data gathering methodology for a number of important initiatives including but not limited to efficiency, SDLC process effectiveness and productivity
• Develop and oversee data processing pipelines, build automated processes for Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data between different formats and systems to support data analysis
• Design, develop and continuously improve reporting and analytics solutions that are scalable
• Create a set of curated production data sets for use in Product & Engineering dashboards and analysis
• Synthesize complex data findings into actionable and clear recommendations to internal stakeholders and leaders

You have

• 3+ years of experience in reporting and analytics, preferably related to technology operations
• Experience with SQL, data warehouse tools like Redshift, Astronomer, DBT, Airflow, relational databases and writing queries and/or data wrangling software 
• Some programming experience with object oriented languages like Python and/or Java
• Experience with business/technology software like Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Collibra
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
• You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ

• Strong business acumen, statistical analysis, written and verbal communication skills

Measures of success

• Within your first month, you will have built relationships with the Engineering Operations team, gained an understanding of our SDLC and start supporting existing reporting initiatives 
• Within your third month, you will have built relationships with key SMEs, continuously improve existing reporting initiatives and start to build your own
• Within your sixth month, you will have successfully rolled out your first project for Product & Engineering
