Data Science and Solutions Engineer (SSA)

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Design, build, manage and implement SSA models and analytic solutions based on the application of ML/DL/DS/DE techniques; those will follow as guidelines SSA Concept Document, the SSA technical documentation, the SSA IT system architecture and capabilities as well as business needs.
• Implement end-to-end process of the SSA models lifecycle (business needs collection and understanding, modelling, SSA model deployment, real-time processing, monitoring).
• Support of SSA models and analytic solutions deployment, integration, orchestration, and administration (at the current SSA project stage also support the development of these related SSA IT system components).
• Understand and support the use of containerization technology and Kubernetes in the context of SSA as well as technologies used around (i.e. Kafka).
• Develop prototypes and demonstrate added value of the SSA models and analytic solutions (including those created by the other SSA users).
• Support business users on chosen models and solutions exploration and use.
• Research the newest and most efficient ways to build SSA models and analytic solutions.
• Contribute to the testing of the various IT components to be deployed;
• Provide quality assurance expertise and guidance;
• Assure contract performance and fulfilment of reporting procedures;
• Contribute to feasibility studies and cost benefits analysis.
• The Data Science and Solution Engineering services should rely on close cooperation with the ICS2 SSA Data Scientists, ICS2 SSA Data Engineers, ICS2 SSA IT implementation team and contractors. Also with the Data Analysts, the Data Scientists, Risk Management and Data Protection experts from the client's stakeholders. The consultant delivering the service should be capable of understanding their requirements and provide necessary support in SSA workflow related aspects.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• A Bachelor Degree is mandatory
• At least 13 years of IT experience, out of which 4 should be specialized in designing, building, managing, and supporting the entire SSA Models lifecycle.
• Significant experience and expert solutions implementations in the fields of Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Data Science (DS) and Data Engineering (DE)
• Hands-on experience of Python and R

Also, having hands on experience with any of the following will be seen as an asset:

• Julia
• graph analytics techniques
• Tensorflow/Pytorch
• Dataiku, Superset, Elasticsearch
