The Data Scientist role involves understanding business objectives, collaborating cross-functionally, and analyzing data to drive strategic decisions. Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools is required. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. Experience with containerization tools, cloud platforms, and Apache Airflow is desirable. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred.As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
Understand business objectives and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business challenges.
Collect, clean, and process data from various sources.
Explore and analyze large datasets to identify opportunities.
Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to draw meaningful conclusions.
Create data visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data across the organization.
Design and develop data services and APIs
Deploy and maintain services into production environments.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into business applications.
Actively participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering).
Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, messy datasets.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) for hosting and managing data services.
Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Airflow
Experience in designing and developing data services and APIs
Collaboration skills to work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to define API requirements and ensure seamless integration.
