We are looking for a Solution Analyst to join our ETL team in the Everyday Banking tribe. The position is based in Helsinki but remote work practices in Finland area are flexible.

 

What is the role and team like? 


As a Solution Analyst you will work as part of the Cards ETL Team. In total the team has 12 members, and the main responsibility area is ETL based integrations. Some older parts of our cards system is still running in IBM mainframe environment, and we appreciate knowledge of that environment. Your responsibilities include a wide range of critical activities such as specifying and describing technical and functional requirements, analyzing, and mapping relevant business processes and IT infrastructure, and conducting in-depth research on regulations that could influence solution delivery, such as compliance, data governance, and organizational mandates. 


You will also play a key role in proposing solutions aligned with organizational objectives, participating in the technical design, development, and testing phases of these solutions. Furthermore, your responsibilities extend to overseeing quality assurance and deployment processes, as well as maintaining open communication by providing regular reports to stakeholders and senior IT leaders throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

To be able to seamlessly join our team, we hope that you already possess a few key competences needed in this position:

 

  • Experience from ETL based integrations (batch interfaces)

  • Ability to operate in an environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Perception of large entities and the ability to split the entity into smaller sub-entities

  • Previous experience with core system reforms that integrate the new system into the existing system environment

  • Good documentation skills (technical, functional)

  • IBM Mainframe experience is appreciated
