Job Description

Are you studying Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence or another related subjects? (HBO/WO) And would you like to do your internship in the technical playground of Lely? Then read on quickly!

Practical Information

• This is a collaborative internship.
• You are available at least 32 hours per week for your internship.
• You are available from the end of January 2024 for a period of 3-4 months.
• You are fluent in English.

Qualifications

Are you passionate about using cutting-edge technology to extract meaningful insights from visual data? Then join our team as a Computer Vision intern focused on summarizing videos!

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced algorithms that automatically distill important information from video content. The project you will be working on is of enormous importance to both the agricultural sector and our technical team. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between farmers and engineers by providing real-time insights. This collaboration aims to accelerate the process of identifying and implementing improvements, ultimately leading to more efficient and effective agricultural practices.

During your internship, you will be engaged in:

• Data preparation.
• Development algorithm: Explore and experiment with new deep learning architectures for video summaries to improve performance and efficiency.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of experiments, methodologies and results. Present findings and insights to the research team in regular meetings.
• Performance optimization and tuning: Optimize deep learning models for speed and efficient use of resources to ensure real-time or near-real-time video summarization capabilities.
• Integration and implementation: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate developed models into existing systems or applications.
• Iterative Development: Iteratively test and refine models based on feedback and performance analysis.

Job requirements

• You have experience with Python and C++.
• You have basic knowledge of Deep learning toolsets such as Pytorch, Computer vision tools and libraries such as OpenCV.
• You have experience with image processing and computer vision.
• You are communicative and sociable.
• You are creative and can express this visually.
• You are accurate and structured.
