Let's start with the role

 

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our fast-growing BI & Analytics team and support the expansion of the CRM function through analytics and insights across Kaizen Gaming in the next phase of an exciting scale-up data journey. You will be mainly focusing, but not limited to, on topics relevant to CRM - Campaign management, Strategy development, Customer Behavior analysis, CRM initiative reporting, utilizing our existing infrastructure to scale up operations and facilitate the global expansion of Kaizen.

 

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you will:
  • Collect data requirements based on upcoming business needs of the departments you will be working with and subsequently review and validate the newly collected data in close collaboration with the stakeholders and the corresponding Data Analysts;
  • Design and develop end-to-end data analytics through visualization of past trends and patterns. Evaluate, develop and redefine established key metrics;
  • Enhance and uphold existing dashboards and reports.
  • Maintain the Data Lake (Azure Databricks) and optimize data flows to support reporting needs under a Unity Catalog model.
  • Safeguard and promote the Company's Data Governance Strategy.  
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions;
  • Ensure alignment & prioritization of data solutions/projects along with the Core BI team;
  • Contribute to establishing a strong data culture across the organization.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, economics, operations research or similar;
  • 4+ years working experience in a reporting, statistical or quantitative role;
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience;
  • A data-driven attitude with an analytical focus and a good understanding of statistical methods;
  • Ability to think strategically and primarily cooperate and interact with senior stakeholders;
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and identify opportunities with minimum oversight;
  • Manage senior stakeholders under pressure and/or raise issues when necessary;
  • Exceptional SQL skills, with advanced proficiency in MS-Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) as well as Google Sheets and Google Slides;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI (or other dashboarding tool, such as Tableau);
  • Experience in Data Manipulation and Data Analysis using Python will be considered a plus;
  • High drive, can-do attitude, proactive and flexible to changing business demands;
  • Analytical mindset and detail-oriented with ability to focus and prioritize workload;
  • Experience with Databricks will be considered a strong plus;
  • Fluent in English.
