Audit is the home for those who dare to be curious and driven to dig for the truth when the answers do not seem right.

Allianz Technology Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations.

 

The Audit Data Analyst contributes to the overall efficiency of the Internal Audit Department by implementing and creating dashboards on the monitoring the activities of the Internal Audit department.

 

What you will do

 

• Perform data  mining activities by

• Identify the data related to audited processes from the interacting  with the audit teams and the available documentation (data catalogs, data models)
• Defining control points that would help identify risk areas based on the audit objectives, define;
• Evaluating evaluate the quality of the data and their availability, to confirm their feasibility, for each control point,
• Creating search algorithms for easy data exploitation;
•  Appling statistical methods in complex data analysis;

• Data analysis and visualization
  •  Performs data analysis to identify risk areas based on the results of data exploitation or the causes of identified problems;
  • Presents the results of the audit team's analyzes and provides tools to further facilitate the analyzes and/or sharing with the audited entities;
  • Confluence documentation analysis (data sources used and applied filters, stakeholders, assumptions, etc.)

 

What you bring

 

• Strong academic background (master/university diploma or degree in economics, statistics or similar disciplines);
• Strong, demonstrated professional track record, preferably in an audit/accounting/controlling or consulting company;
• Working experience with data basis and data analysis
• +3 years professional experience in internal/external audit or as consultant or equivalent will be an advantage;
• Ability to deal with all types of persons and experience in managing escalation processes after delivering inconvenient decisions; 
• Geographical mobility (international travel for extended periods);
• Proven command of the English language (verbal and written);

• Excellent communication skills are essential;
• Rigorous and methodological work approach;
• Talent to empathize for the auditee’s perspective and ability to listen;
• Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style, as well as ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures;
• Strong computer skills / MS Office;
