About Team & About Role:

As an engineer on the Metadata Infrastructure team, you’ll own fundamental communication infrastructure that all other product teams at Rubrik build upon. Rubrik’s core products are CDM on premises and RSC in the cloud, and the Metadata Infrastructure team owns the communication layer between the two, enabling RSC to be the SaaS control plane for Rubrik.

What You'll Do:

Rubrik Software Engineers are self-starters, driven, and can manage themselves. We believe in giving engineers responsibility, not tasks.   • Build our platforms, systems and infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems and SaaS services.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques, and coding standards.
  • Identify and solve for bottlenecks within our software stack. 

Experience You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience in software development in one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Go/Golang, Scala, Java, C/C++, or Python.
  • Experience architecting and developing large scale systems in one or more of the following areas: distributed systems, networking, file systems, storage systems, or database systems.
  • Intimate knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Go, microservice architectures is a plus.

 

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US Pay Range$148,000—$222,000 USD
