Job Description

As a Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in managing our cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on owning data-oriented services in AWS, and infrastructure automation. In this leadership position, you will lead a team of engineers, oversee the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions, and ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of Wix infrastructure.

• Lead and manage a team of cloud and infrastructure engineers while mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and knowledge

• Take full ownership of data services in the cloud, continuously improving our offering to Wix organization including but not limited to designing, building, and implementing services like zookeeper, etcd, and artifactory.

• Develop and implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Chef

• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of infrastructure, and proactively communicate progress and blockers

• Identify and implement new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability

• Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes

Qualifications

• A team lead with 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management

• Proven experience with AWS

• Expert knowledge in managing cloud infrastructure at scale.

• Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Chef

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for technology and a willingness to learn new things

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Devops Engineer - Professional or equivalent certification (preferred)

Salary range is 6000 - 8000 Eur GROSS / month (Total package, including equity)
