Senior ML Engineer

Your qualifications, your influence

• Lead all ML engineering work in the team. This includes the design, architecture and development of the data science business logic code infrastructure, as well as full responsibility for its scale in terms of memory and runtime.
• Working hand-in-hand with the team’s data scientists on data pre-processing and post-processing functionality, machine learning, deep learning and NLP algorithms, explainability methods and more, using Python packages (including Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, NLTK, PyTorch etc..) from POC stage through infrastructure development to a customer-facing product
• Lead ML engineering technologies research and implementation (for example, ML Pipeline tools etc.).
• Be responsible for continuous improvement of dev best practices within the team, including DSs education, coaching and mentoring, code review standards, testing standards, and productization procedures.

Preferred skills and technical familiarity

• At least 4 years of proven experience in software development.
• Strong code writing and design capabilities (Python or equivalent), understanding of distributed systems, object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience and theoretical knowledge in data science (ML, DL, NLP, statistics etc.).
• Sc. graduate with excellence – GPA of at least 90 from a leading university, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

• Actual experience as an ML Engineer, as well as experience with developing and maintaining machine learning based solutions in production.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Map-Reduce etc.).
