Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Chief Data Architect (CDA) Support Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a Process Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a CDA Support Process Engineer on our team you will provide direct Process Engineering support to the Agency’s Chief Data Architect (CDA). You will coordinate the following Working Groups (WG):

  • Data Strategy WG
  • Dissemination Architecture WG
  • Data Architecture Strategy Requirements WG

You will assist the CDA in communications strategies to the Enterprise and Mission programs; support the community data architecture activities of the CDA; and assist in the identification of process risks and determinations of appropriate response(s) and mitigations and assist in identifying and validating stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university is required.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience is to include, within the last ten years, five years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices. Four additional years of process engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a qualifying Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
  • Familiarity with the requirements management process from the beginning to the end.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Able to:
    • Work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule;
    • Work with top-level government management and to work as a team member.
    • Prioritize projects/tasks based on government requirements.
    • Break down complex problems and offer solutions and or recommendations for a way forward.
    • Create process and or procedure documents. (i.e., Flow charts, Check list, SOPs, etc.)
    • Manage multiple projects.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
