**Job Title: Big Data Engineer/Architect**

- Total Experience: 12 years

**Key Requirements:**

1. **Data Modeling:** Proven expertise in designing and implementing effective data models to support business requirements and analytics.

2. **Azure:** Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure HDInsight.

3. **Architectural Skills:** Strong architectural skills with the ability to design and implement scalable and high-performance big data solutions.

4. **Baking Experience:** Previous experience in the banking sector is a must, demonstrating an understanding of financial data, security, and compliance requirements.

5. **Approach and Attitude:** Proactive and assertive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to drive initiatives and projects forward.

6. **Effective Communication:** Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide mentorship to team members.

**Responsibilities:**

- Design and implement scalable and efficient big data architectures on the Azure platform.

- Develop and maintain data models that meet business requirements and support analytics initiatives.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements, especially in the banking domain.

- Drive the implementation of best practices in data engineering and architecture.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate big data solutions into existing systems.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in big data engineering and architecture, with a focus on Azure technologies.

- Certifications in relevant Azure services would be a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
