Rx Savings Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced ETL/Data Engineer looking for an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company with an awesome and fun-loving culture. We take pride knowing that the work we do can greatly impact the lives of our customers.   As a Data Engineer on our Tier 3 Support Team at RxSS, you will identify gaps and create quality code foundational to our mission alongside a diverse team of top-notch engineers, designers, quality analysts and industry experts. Our Engineering Support team performs root cause analysis for a wide variety of issues which involve complex object and data models, data flows between disparate operational systems and our data warehouse.  You will also have opportunities to build innovative support projects from ground up.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with an emphasis in Computer Science/Information Systems OR equivalent professional experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in ETL Tools (Talend is a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL queries 
  • Investigate, troubleshoot data related issues and identify root causes of software problems.
  • Knowledge of Structured and Unstructured data
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of BI concepts and be familiar with relational or multi-dimensional modeling.
  • A great attitude with a passion for supporting your team and offering creative solutions.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technologies/skills, as well as improve existing skills. 
  • Understanding of RDBMS best practices.

Nice to have...

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of either JavaScript, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, or other server-side scripting languages
  • Knowledge of React or any other front-end technologies
  • Knowledge of version control flow systems (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines
