Data Analytics PO required to oversee our current data analytics & data governance as well as being a crucial part of setting out road maps, digital strategies, requirements gathering and KPI assigning.

At WTC, we consider data and analytics the engine that could propel our client’s business forward, with reliable and well-managed data being a critical component in achieving their overall business strategy. We are fully committed to delivering world-class data and analytics strategies for our clients and are now looking for well-rounded practitioner to spearhead our efforts to build a world class Data and Analytics solution for a new eCommerce proposition we are currently developing. The successful applicant will work with key senior stakeholders to ensure the delivery of maximum value through enterprise and digital data.

About the role:

  • Provide consultative guidance on data management, data analytics and data governance-related
  • Collaborate closely with the organisation leadership team, data and analytics teams and other functions such CX, Trading, Customer Service, etc., to understand business demand, identify suitable products or new use cases, and building/leading their initial implementation.
  • Manage the Data Product and its roadmap including strategic planning, requirements gathering, prioritisation, communication, stakeholder involvement, metrics, and reporting, conveying business value
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders from BUs and Group Functions, as well as some external parties (cloud provider, software vendors, etc.)
  • Focus on joining up the necessary stakeholders across departments to address gaps and pain-points in data and analytics journeys
  • Develop conceptual data models to improve processes and add strategic value to our client business
  • Work with the Data Engineering team to consult on data availability and data schemas on various tools to ensure the generation of accurate and valuable reporting
  • Scope, design and build BI reporting
  • Cross-sell and deliver on data projects for key clients, growing revenue and producing case studies to promote the Data engineering and Data science services

Responsibilities:

  • Data management, data warehousing, data integration, data migration, business intelligence, analytics, and project delivery across advisory and technical capacity.
  • Examine data, processes, and technologies to evaluate the current state and critical problems for both internal business functions and external client projects
  • Create automated data reports to inform business units, including documentation, toolkits, and FAQ guides
  • Integration and analysis of wide range of datasets and generation of insight that can drive business change
  • Research and make recommendations about training, equipment, and technology to improve data use
  • Train and mentor teams in data input, use, meaning, and analysis

What we want from you:

  • Broad understanding of data and analytics tools and programming languages
  • Strong client-facing experience as a data PO / analyst / consultant
  • Strong understanding of analytics and data concepts
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, positive attitude

If you know some of this even better!

  • Educated to Degree or Masters level in a business or mathematical subject
  • Experience dealing with various senior stakeholders across the business
  • Experience with Google’s toolkit (Big Query, Looker, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience working within a consultancy function
  • Experience in ecommerce
