Data Analyst

Santa Clara, California, United States - Remote

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, and have expert-level experience with Google Sheets, particularly in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Location: Remote

Pay Rate range: $40-43/hr on W2

Shift Timing: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm PST (start time flexible)

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Utilize statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to address business challenges.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced Google Sheets functionalities, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Create and maintain complex spreadsheets to organize and analyze data efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to convey complex data concepts.
  • Identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions to improve data quality and accuracy.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with other analysts, data scientists, and business units to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in other data analysis tools and programming languages is a plus.
