The Senior Marketing Data Analyst is a highly visible role where you will lead cutting edge work in the marketing and campaign analytics space with key campaign metrics, insights into customer behavior and tactic performance as well as delivering advanced marketing models for propensity, tactic influence, lift testing, and tactic mix optimization.

What you'll do

  • Deliver marketing analytics to deliver actionable insights that drive our marketing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage end-to-end tactic analysis and optimization for multi-channel marketing campaigns including but not limited to paid search (SEM), organic search (SEO), display advertising, Retargeting and Social programs
  • Tie upfront marketing engagement data to lower funnel lead and opportunity conversion to proactively identify most effective marketing channels and mixes for each account persona by product and segment including support of MROI measurement
  • Evaluate and enhance existing campaign data and metrics reporting, and perform deep-dive analyses to develop operational and execution efficiencies 
  • Contribute to campaign analytics, data engineering, marketing operations, and marketing technology systems best practices to advance the marketing organization’s capabilities  
  • Collaborate closely with BI, data engineering, marketing leads, and other analysts to implement key projects and opportunities
  • Work with agencies on tracking tools and marketing models
  • Lead data driven approach to business decisions and actions to drive incremental growth and overall marketing performance
  • Build leading key performance indicators for marketing campaigns and other activities to determine effectiveness.
  • Support analytical approaches to optimizing marketing spend allocation
  • Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
  • Support ML model development and applications for growth/retention/cross-sell/up-sell propensity measurement, relative tactic influence measurement, parameter regression, factor correlation, causal inference, next best action, etc
  • Support field action dashboards with marketing recommendations (daily recommender, account propensity, sales motion account grids, etc)
  • Present findings and recommendations to key decision-makers at various management levels using a collection of dashboards, reports, and presentations within a set periodic rhythm of business monthly and quarterly cadence.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in e-commerce and/or subscription business/industry (e.g. financial services, telecom, entertainment, Software as a Service, etc.) is preferred. 
  • Hands-on experience with optimizing multi-channel campaigns including SEM, SEO, Display, Social, Events (in-person/webinars), and Content for both upper and lower funnel campaigns.
  • Experience with marketing automation and funnel analytics as well as website analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of digital tagging methodologies and tracking. Expertise in new/emerging technologies in digital tracking (URL, cookies, cookie-less approaches).
  • High attention to detail, action oriented, ability to work within stringent deadlines
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  • Strong strategic thinking complemented with a bias for action. A successful candidate needs to be able to develop a strategy and execution plan that drives results.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and create action plans in solving unstructured problems.
  • Project management skills to prioritize and drive initiatives forward.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills with a focus on tangible, measurable recommendations.
  • Highly accountable, driving success in a fast-paced environment, experience working in global roles.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as R-Studio, Tableau/Power BI, Python, Adobe Analytics, BlueKai and Ensighten a plus
  • Prior agency analytics experience

What's required for application

  • 6+ years of combined marketing, digital media, or demand generation analytics and/or data science experience. 
  • Experience with data conformance, SQL, Excel/Sheets, and ML model concepts
  • Knowledge of statistical A/B testing and statistical significance to lead the design of campaign tests
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing partners and influence campaign managers, agencies, MOPs, data engineering to ensure accurate tracking of campaigns
