The team…

Analysts within the Fulfilment department help product teams to use data to make better informed decisions. We are looking for an analyst to join our small (but rapidly expanding team) to take ownership of ad hoc analysis and reporting for one of the three product departments within Fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in SQL, and be able to use data visualisation tools to clearly communicate recommendations/findings to differing levels of stakeholder. The scope of the role will expand over time, covering elements of analytics engineering, data analysis, and (eventually) AB testing.

The Analyst team within Fulfilment is at the very beginning of it’s creation, so you should be comfortable with high-levels of ambiguity, and excited by tackling large data challenges!! 

What you will be doing...

• Manage existing team reporting/dashboards
• Triage ad hoc requests for analysis. This will include liaising with stakeholders to understand questions they are seeking to answer.
• Carry out in depth analysis related to stakeholder questions or observed changes in metric behaviour. And provide results in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders, using the most appropriate available tooling.
• Proactively work with other analysts in the team to identify areas of opportunity for improving our Fulfilment product offering
• Empower teams to self-serve data/insights through development in our BI tooling

The analysis will typically involve using some of the following (previous experience desirable): Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, Python (e.g. Jupyter, Pandas), Google Data Studio, Looker, SQL, Google BigQuery.

Bonus Toolkit

• Domain knowledge: Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Fulfilment or Logistics
