Junior Data Scientist

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Data Scientist to work onsite with the customer to perform analysis of existing data. The ideal candidate will use existing data to find patterns, commonalities, trends, and make predictions to present to the customer to contribute and enhance intelligence and national security. The selected candidate must be comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams as well as writing reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at minimum a Bachelor’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another related field.
• 3+ years as a data scientist or relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience with developing data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• 2+ years of experience with databases and statistical computer languages
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with statistical computer languages such as Python, SQL, R, etc. or willing to learn
• Experience with Tableau or willing to learn
• Experience with ELK Stack: Elastic, Logstash, Kibana
• Understanding of Agile Project Management Approach
