The TA Data Analyst will  build the analytical insights that influence Braze’s talent acquisition strategy and initiatives. They will be tasked with getting a deep understanding of our recruiting functions and leverage data to inform leadership of trends, challenges, and opportunities. As you provide insights on key metrics for the Talent Acquisition organization, you will evaluate processes and make recommendations to improve existing data-collection methodologies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain simple to complex Greenhouse reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Greenhouse Report Builder, Snowflake and Looker BI
  • Deliver meaningful metrics, trends, and analytical insights via Greenhouse reporting and Looker BI
  • Analyze, design, and build new custom reports using standard Greenhouse reporting functionality
  • Ensure custom reports function as designed based on business requirements
  • Provide support for existing custom reports in Greenhouse
  • Ability to document the report function and design to facilitate maintenance
  • Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Provide analysis of impacts to reporting based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes
  • Partner with HRIS team for Workday reports and people data
  • Assist with Greenhouse administration
  • Own people data as it relates to Talent Acquisition, including but not limited to: vendor/sourcing, hiring process and funnel, recruiter and hiring manager performance, retention 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Greenhouse report writing (advanced Greenhouse Report Builder and relevant report development tools)
  • Developing cross-platform reporting - converting raw data into actionable insights with tools like SQL, Tableau, Looker, and others as opportunities present themselves
  • Analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements
  • Ability to work with and analyze raw data tables to develop visual reports
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and with highly confidential data
  • Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition/HR information systems, including experience in designing, building, and testing reports in various Talent Acquisition/HR applications
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Previous experience with a Greenhouse/Workday integration is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in reports management
  • Greenhouse experience or training required
  • 2+ years of experience with Talent Acquisition/HR applications and report development tools such as Tableau, Looker, SQL, Business Objects, Crystal, and Greenhouse Report Builder
  • Master proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Talent Acquisition/HR functional experience required
