We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager for the Royalty Analytics & Data (RAD) team. You will focus on royalty data operations, business enablement, and improving efficiency across Finance through process improvement and automation.

What you'll do

  • Work with large data sets, solving complex problems in a dynamic environment
  • Work with a multi-functional team of data analysts, engineers, and accountants to define and test requirements for enhancing royalty calculation systems to serve the needs of Spotify’s growing business
  • Work with teams across Accounting and Finance to design and implement process improvements/automation to enable scalable growth
  • Work with accounting team members to define requirements for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting, being able to work independently to propose solutions
  • Manage data analyst/scientists to ensure their success and development
  • Work with a group of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about Spotify’s success

Who you are

  • You have a minimum 5 years of experience using databases and analytics tools to solve business problems
  • You have experience managing and developing a team of data analysts / scientists
  • You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or another quantitative discipline
  • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast moving company with a wide variety of strategic initiatives
  • You have previous experience working in the music industry
