NLP Data Manager

As an NLP Data Manager you will be responsible for weaving data into gold. You'll work with the Product and Data Science teams in Gong to analyze Gong’s unique customer data (recorded calls, emails and other forms of conversation + business outcomes) and provide actionable insights that will help shape Gong’s product roadmap. You will also work with leadership teams of key enterprise customers to present the insights, receive feedback and iterate towards creating repeatable AI-driven models.

You Will:

• Work alongside Data Scientists and Product Managers to translate business and Product needs into successful ML projects
• Support and improve ML model creation, by analyzing real-world data, defining labeling guidelines and training and test datasets, evaluating model performance, and suggesting improvements
• Provide supporting data for prioritizing new NLP based features and initiatives
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection, annotation and evaluation, define and implement workflows, perform exploratory analysis and write guidelines and documentation
• Serve as the professional point of contact for multi lingual team of annotators, train, mentor and perform quality monitoring
• Help create project timelines and make sure that progress adheres to the plan

You have:

• BA/BSc in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Management, Psychology, Linguistics or an exact science or equivalent experience
• 1+ year experience performing data analysis Excellent communication skills, with very high proficiency in spoken and written English
• Strong project management and prioritization skills and self-motivation
• Good business understanding and the ability to separate the wheat from the chaff, detecting hidden insights, and communicating them to non-analysts.
• Proficiency in other languages - a plus
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau or similar tools for analyzing and visualizing data - a plus
• Familiarity with AI/ML - a plus
