Position Summary:PointClickCare is looking for a Data Scientist to support internal and external customer's analytic and data consulting needs. The Data Scientist will be responsible for extracting, preparing, and visualizing data to drive decision-making with internal and external customers; calculate, monitor, and report on return-on-investment (ROI) for programs and customers; consult with and provide recommendations to internal and external customers on their analytic and ROI needs; and manage relationships with our internal and external partners.  Key Responsibilities:·         Respond to ad-hoc analytic requests from internal and external customers, and learn from the ad-hoc requests to build better analytics that proactively answer customer questions. ·         Visualize data to develop a better understanding of the value our customers receive through usages of our software products ·         Create and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to identify trends using data to drive the business to action·         Create and execute advanced analytic plans to calculate credible savings and changes in key outcome metrics that can be shared with internal and external customers·         Evaluate programs and projects, and communicate the results to diverse audiences·         Understand and use the data warehouse and relational databases ·         Ensure accurate quality for deliverables by working with peers for appropriate levels of quality assurance What you’ll be doing day to day:·         Extracting data to build metrics and Tableau dashboards to track success toward company, department, and customer KPIs·         Sharing insights with customers regarding drivers of success and/or areas of opportunity ·         Researching impact of new ideas to help prioritize areas of focus ·         Consulting with product and account management regarding success and ROI metrics for each customer Who you’ll work with:·         The Data Scientist will work closely with many teams throughout the organization such as Marketing, Product, Strategy, Account Management, and Sales, along with the rest of the Data Science team in visualizing and tracking data an analytics to ultimately help our customers improve care coordination Required Experience: ·         Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in data science, analytics, mathematics, statistics, public health, economics, social, social science, or actuarial science. ·         Master's degree or PhD preferred, but not required.·         5 to 8 years of related analytics work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience·         Demonstrated experience in using advanced analytics, statistics, and experimental methods (e.g., multiple regression, logistic regression, propensity score matching)·         Excitement in tackling a broad range of projects supporting varied audiences for a growing organization ·         Previous healthcare related industry experience is strongly preferred ·         Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and visualization tools such Python, R, SAS, Tableau, and SQL ·         Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint·         Ability to meet deadlines, work with tight schedules, and manage multiple priorities under minimum supervision ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·         Strong analysis skills ·         Strong attention to detail ·         Experience with cleaning, aggregating, and pre-processing data from varied sources. ·         Experience creating complex SQL queries for standard as well as ad hoc data mining purposes·         Leadership skills to organize people in our department or other departments and align on project goalsWorking at PointClickCare goes beyond the resume, because the work we perform makes a true difference in people’s lives.
