Senior Data Scientists, Customer Analytics

JOB DUTIES:
RESPONSIBLE FOR BUILDING CUSTOMER BEHAVIOR MODELS AND DELIVER MEANINGFUL INSIGHTS TO IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND RETENTION. PARTNER CLOSELY WITH THE MACHINE LEARNING TEAM TO BUILD AND OPTIMIZE LTV AND CUSTOMER HEALTH INDEX (CHI) SCORING MODELS. PARTNER WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO PROPOSE RETENTION, CULTIVATION AND WIN-BACK STRATEGIES AND ACHIEVE A LIAISON BETWEEN CUSTOMER BEHAVIORS AND CROSS CHANNEL CUSTOMER VIEWS. DRIVE INSIGHTS ABOUT CUSTOMERS THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFECYCLE WITH ATLASSIAN. BUILD AND MANAGE MODELS TO PREDICT POTENTIAL BEHAVIOR OF CUSTOMERS AND WORK CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY TO HELP CUSTOMERS GET MORE VALUE FROM ATLASSIAN’S PRODUCT SUITE OF SOFTWARE PRODUCTS AND PLATFORMS. DRIVE INSIGHTS ON THE MULTI-YEAR EFFORT TO TRANSITION CUSTOMERS TO CLOUD. IMPLEMENT SQL AND DATA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES SUCH AS PYTHON, R, AND OTHERS. USE UNDERSTANDING OF MACHINE LEARNING TECHNIQUES SUCH AS REGRESSION, ANOVA, CLUSTERING, DECISION TREES, GRADIENT BOOSTING MACHINES TO CRAFT RAW DATA AND ANALYSIS INTO WELL-WRITTEN AND PERSUASIVE CONTENT. SHARE ANALYSES AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO NONTECHNICAL AUDIENCES, AND DESIGN AND ANALYZE EXPERIMENTS THAT DRIVE KEY PRODUCT DECISIONS. USE EXPERIENCE WITH BOTH ENTERPRISE (OR B2B) AS WELL AS CONSUMER (OR B2C) ENVIRONMENTS TO PRESENT RESULTS AT MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MASTER’S DEGREE IN STATISTICS, ANALYTICS, MATHEMATICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD OF STUDY PLUS TWO (2) YEARS OF ANALYTICS EXPERIENCE, CRAFTING RAW DATA AND ANALYSIS INTO WELL-WRITTEN AND PERSUASIVE CONTENT INCLUDING TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH SQL AND PROFICIENCY IN PYTHON OR R.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN STATISTICS, ANALYTICS, MATHEMATICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD OF STUDY PLUS FIVE (5) YEARS OF ANALYTICS EXPERIENCE, CRAFTING RAW DATA AND ANALYSIS INTO WELL-WRITTEN AND PERSUASIVE CONTENT INCLUDING FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH SQL AND PROFICIENCY IN PYTHON OR R.
