Overview

As Product Manager for our Analytics team, you’ll be responsible for making product decisions and executing on delivering a world-class e-commerce analytics software product. You’ll work closely with customers and our analytics team to help our store owners gain valuable and actionable analytics on their business by owning the UI development of our self-serve product  Recharge’s customers. You will drive, and define the product strategy, goals and requirements for our data and visualization platform working with cross-functional teams to execute and deliver on Recharge’s data services. 

You are an ideal candidate if you have experience with building customer-facing analytics products using javascript visualization libraries and common data warehousing solutions on the market. You are design-conscious and experienced in driving UX/UI development for analytics products. 

As a Product Manager for customer-facing analytics, you would have the opportunity to own a brand new product from start to finish. You will get to work with a brilliant team of engineers, designers, and analytics professionals to build a successful product that drives everyday decisions of our customers.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap and development of Recharge e-commerce data product
  • Build new tools and reports to showcase the value merchants get and inform future revenue growths strategies 
  • Conduct user research to inform UX and design decisions. 
  • Measure effectiveness of product efforts via quantitative and qualitative proxies.
  • Own and operate the product roadmap relating to our data visualization and reporting system.
  • Conducts bespoke analysis for key merchants as needed, while automating and improving processes to meet the majority of merchants requests
  • Creating novel ways to leverage our investment in data and tools to build data products that merchants can use to grow revenue. 

What you'll bring

  • Ground-level understanding of the raw events and transactions that need to be collected, stored and served for analytics use
  • Experiencing with ingestion and maintenance of 3rd party data to enrich our existing sources
  • Experience working with frontend open source javascript libraries for data visualization. Understand how front end web services work
  • Experience in designing browser-based dashboards or similar
  • Proficiency in common prototyping tools such as balsamiq, sketch, indesign 
  • Developing and shipping new UI for complex systems
  • Basic SQL skills
