The Role- 

Modern Health’s Clinical Analytics team is looking for a Senior Clinical Data Analyst, who will report to the Clinical Analytics Director.  We’re looking for someone who can bring health data knowledge & technical expertise to explore our Modern Health data asset in order to improve the lives of our members. In this role, you will work closely with our Care Experience and Client Success teams to explore key data insights enabling clients to get the full value of Modern Health. You will work directly with clients to build value on investment analyses to show how Modern Health services has helped a member population.

In this role, you will dive deep into the data to explore a member’s journey and what actions impact outcomes. You will analyze and summarize key trends for clients and develop a holistic value story for clients and members to show the downstream effects of Modern Health’s service.

What You’ll Do-

  • Build analytic collateral to summarize trends and findings directly to clients and clearly communicate complex insights
  • Lead and develop health economics analytics that shine a light on key success metrics, health equity, and areas of improvement
  • Guarantee the reliability of your work by checking and then double checking your results, and performing code reviews
  • Using your skills in SQL, Python, R, Tableau or the tool of your choice to build global population health analytics, turning confusing data into a clear data story for a variety of purposes including sharing key outcomes and improving member experience and research applications 

Who You Are-

  • 5+ years of experience in health analytics
  • Expert in working with clients on socializing complex analytics and key insights
  • Proven success partnering with and explaining data and analytics concepts to non-technical team members at any level of seniority
  • Expert in SQL and data visualization tools, including Tableau, D3 or an equivalent BI tool
  • Statistical analytics experience, including experience with R and/or SAS or an equivalent tool
  • Experience applying data and analytics concepts to clinical outcomes  
  • Humble, scrappy, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments
