If you have a good grasp of information technology and enjoy interpreting and analysing data, turning it into information that can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions, while also working with a variety of people along the way then a career as a business data analyst could be for you.

Business data analysts look at how the business operates – conducting research and analysing data to develop their knowledge – and suggest methods for the company to improve their practices and processes.

You will:

• Analyze data and turn it into information that can help improve Talkdesk’s support organization and influence decisions within the team.

• Gather information from various sources and assess patterns and trends in data sets, reporting back the findings in a comprehensive study to the wider business/management team. 

• Design potential solutions to any problems identified during the research phase, while simultaneously working alongside teams within the business or the management team to address business needs

• Define new data collection and analysis processes - use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes

We are looking for:

• English proficiency (C1/C2) is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus.

• A minimum of three years of experience as a business data analyst or a relevant role.

• Leadership skills to lead and manage a project plan internally or cross-functionally with internal / external stakeholders.

• Organizational skills (attention to detail; ability to write comprehensive reports, etc). 

• Team player to work with the larger team(s) in improving what needs to be improved.

• Analytical thinking (experience in data models and reporting packages, ability to analyse large datasets and draw conclusions, etc).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving 

• Lean, Six Sigma Certification; Project Management (PMP) Certification; Agile Certification

• A degree in the following subjects is beneficial in developing a career in data analysis:

• Mathematics

• Computer Science

• Statistics

• Economics
