We’re looking for a (Senior) People Survey Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our Teams across Wise and the People Tribe to drive deeper people data-driven decisions.
In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to the employee listening strategy at Wise, to work with a rich people dataset and drive actionable insights, which will have a direct impact on how we add value to our Customers and grow as a business.
You'll drive our analytical efforts, help us understand Wisers’ pain-points and where the biggest opportunities lie. You’ll partner with the People Tribe, the Analytics Squad and each Team globally to bring your insights into real change for our Customers and help drive our mission forward!
Job Purpose:
The (Senior) People Survey Analyst provides a strategic employee listening framework and analytical inputs to each Team and the People Tribe to support evidence-based people decision-making. The (Senior) People Survey Analyst will need to apply their theoretical and technical knowledge to Wise systems that hold people data (both structured and unstructured) in order to select appropriate techniques to extract relevant information in an efficient and secure way, to develop appropriate data models which can be empirically tested to answer key business questions.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing:
- Lead the research design of WiserPulse, our global employee survey, and gather feedback from Leadership Team members and work closely with them and their Teams to ensure continuous improvement of the research design of WiserPulse
- Own the analysis, interpretation and communication of WiserPulse results to all Wisers
- Lead advanced statistical analyses (such as factor analysis, multilevel analysis, text analytics etc.) around WiserPulse
- Manage the relationship with external survey providers and ensure that they offer a fit-for-purpose solution for Wise
- Own the entire analysis cycle, from gathering the business requirements, framing the business question, building hypotheses, to running the analysis, revealing and presenting insights and recommending meaningful actions to senior Wisers
- Develop appropriate data models which can be empirically tested to answer key business questions
- Translate everyday business problems into hypothesis / research questions which can be measured
- Lead specific analytical projects as required in support of the overall People Analytics and People Tribe team goals and objectives
- Work closely with our Senior Data Engineer to select appropriate methodologies / techniques to analyse data and extract insight for key stakeholders in an efficient and secure way
- Collaborate with other (senior) analysts and leads in other teams to learn new methodologies and share best practices
- Support the team to improve our prioritisation framework (we prioritise on initiatives that have the highest payback) and scale it across the People Tribe
- Work closely with your Lead to maintain a healthy pipeline of People Analytics initiatives
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
- Steer and influence the team’s direction and design KPIs and OKRs
- Own the People data domain and be the point of contact for this part of Wise's data
- Play a critical role to upskill the analytics capabilities of the People Tribe at scale and ensure that all People Wisers are able to avoid common stats pitfalls and can correctly interpret WiserPulse and other People data from our self-serve dashboards and people data platforms
A bit about you:
- You have a background working in similar employee survey data-driven roles and 5+ years of experience in analytics
- You have proven, direct experience in the use of data and analytical tools (such as Python, R, SPSS) to analyse employee survey data and to develop models and algorithms
- You are able to identify the most appropriate statistical technique, supervised and / or unsupervised machine learning algorithm, to answer a given business question
- You are a great storyteller and can clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You’ve worked in cross functional teams and can manage senior stakeholders
- You’re a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
Our People:
At Wise, you’ll be joining a movement of people who believe in a better, fairer, more transparent way of moving money around the world. You’ll collaborate to do your best work and take on problems that no one has looked at before.
If you’re keen to learn, grow, try new things and aren’t afraid of a bold plan, you’ll fit right in.
How we work:
At Wise our strategy emerges from the collective brainpower of all our people, who are organised in dozens of independent, autonomous teams. Teams stay closest to our customers, so they choose what problems to solve and where to spend the most time.
You’ll experience radical levels of ownership and empowerment within your role. Plus the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on our customers.
We’re people without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We want to work with the best people, no matter their background. So if you’re passionate about learning new things and keen to join our mission, you’ll fit right in.
Also, qualifications aren’t that important to us. If you’ve got great experience, and you’re great at articulating your thinking, we’d like to hear from you.
And because we believe that diverse teams build better products, we’d especially love to hear from you if you’re from an under-represented demographic.
