Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions for batch and streaming data processing
  • Build, maintain, administer, and scale data pipelines and data models (analytics databases)
  • Collect requirements from BI & Analytics team and identify data that is relevant to analysis
  • Oversee data management and governance to maintain the data integrity
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the big data ecosystem and learn new technologies

Requirements

  • Experience as a database-centric engineer
  • Experience with relational database system, with expertise in SQL
  • Experience with programming languages (Java/Python/Scala etc.)
  • Experience in building complex pipelines using automated workflows e.g. Airflow is a plus
  • Experience with distributed data processing platform e.g. Hadoop, Spark is a plus
  • Experience with BI tools and platforms e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio is a plus
  • Interest in BI, data analytics, or data science areas is a plus
