The Role

Hey, you! Yes, YOU! Do you love to dive deep into Google Analytics? Do you love to find trends and issues in Facebook ads? What about marketing campaigns? Is that your jam? CompanyCam is searching for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Analytics team and take our marketing analytics to the next level. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help our team to reach beyond the world of proving marketing ROI and delve into the exciting science of ad spend, audience segmentation, targeting and optimization.

In this Job You Will...

  • Develop tactics and metrics to assess, test, and enhance the effectiveness of new and existing marketing and advertising programs
  • Provide the analytical strategy behind marketing campaigns, analyze results, and communicate the "why" of successes/failures/surprises
  • Work with cross-functional teams to collaborate on business objectives and influence marketing strategy and budget allocation
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop automated dashboards and reports showcasing performance metrics that will help drive key business decisions
  • Partner closely with Finance to forecast financial impact of marketing programs and set budgets for digital advertising channels and campaigns

You MUST have...

  • Marketing Analytics experience or similar role (web analytics, SEO, SEM, social, email, funnel optimization, A/B testing), including experience in: 
    • Taking unstructured problems and breaking them down into manageable quantitative analyses
    • Working with complicated SQL queries
    • Presenting technical analyses in a clear and impactful formats (written summaries, live demos, presentation, etc.)
    • Working cross functionally across teams with varying technical proficiency and expertise
    • Analyzing marketing data and presenting results to a marketing leadership team

It'd be NICE if you have experience with...

  • Data ETL tools like DBT - YUGE plus!
  • Behavioral analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap
  • BI tools like Metabase, Looker, Tableau
  • Data analytical/statistics tools in R or Python
