Position Title: Data Analyst

Location: Theale / London / Remote / Hybrid

Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst you will:

  • Work with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to breakdown User Stories and Acceptance Criteria into detailed data orientated requirements (e.g., data models, data profiling documents and source-to-target mappings)
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering Team and provide ongoing support to help implement requirements
  • Create reporting and visualisations from data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Work on analytics proof of concepts to demonstrate the “art of the possible” and raise data literacy across the organisation
  • Create data glossaries for data end-users

Required Skills: 

  • Advanced SQL
  • Advanced data visualisation skills in tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience in data modelling and database principles in Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Analytical mindset and capabilities; strong problem-solving skills with quality focus
  • Eagerness to learn and “can-do” attitude
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills; outstanding interpersonal skills and be a team player

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in using Snowflake
  • Experience in using Python, R or similar for data analytics
  • Familiar with data privacy levels and legislations that affect data processing and handling (e.g., GDPR and CCPA)
  • Understanding of Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning concepts
