About the job

Our Analytics team has analysts supporting a large variety of departments around the company. Though each team member’s specific projects may differ, our team is built to foster an environment where everyone helps each other, we all grow together, and we empower Twilio with data insights, self service reporting, analytical solutions, and teaching best practices.


This role will be primarily focused on supporting the Voice product, but may work on projects across other business units as well. 



Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Draw the Owl and Be Bold: Analyze billions of rows of data and derive insights to propel the business forward.
  • Wear the Customer’s Shoes: Understand the needs and constraints of business partners, as well as Twilio’s hundreds of thousands of customers.
  • Be An owner and Write It Down: Own end to end dashboards, analysis and machine learning projects, and document how to do them for future analysts. 
  • Be Inclusive: Support analysts on the Analytics team working on other business units, and gain from the value of different perspectives and experiences.
  • Empower Others: Help create self service data analytics within Twilio and be a part of the team that owns products like Looker and Tableau for Twilio.

Required:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in developing technical BI data solutions and providing business intelligence in a fast paced industry
  • Experienced working with SQL and relational and multidimensional database schemas and designs
  • Experience with a reporting tool such as Tableau and Looker (LookML)
  • Familiar with Python or R to use machine learning techniques such as predictive modeling and clustering
  • Ability to think strategically and initiate, refine and complete projects with minimal guidance
  • A proven track record of recommending improvements to business stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team

 

Location

This role will be remote within the US.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $65,576 - $103,048 
  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
