Data Analyst

As part of the Go to Market team, you will be the data enabler for supporting execution of the commercial strategic initiatives we want to achieve in NZ, particularly those relating to personalised, targeted marketing.
What you’ll do- Source relevant, reliable data for sales team, sales managers and leaders via various mediums, both ad hoc and periodic- Generate audience reports for tailored marketing initiatives- Create insights for stakeholders in useful formats (for example reports, dashboards) to support business objectives- Provide analysis, commentary and guidance on data provided to assist decision making based on stakeholders’ needs- Improve reporting and other operational processes, automating where appropriate- Help to develop an idea statement of priority data points to be made available in Salesforce Marketing cloud, for automating future communications- Build good working relationships with internal teams- Understand and adhere to data governance policy- Provide sales operations support to the GTM team if needed
Success looks like- Timely delivery of relevant and accurate data / information / insights meeting the needs of the GTM team- Cohesive analysis, report automation and process improvements are seen as best practice- Continuous adherence to Data Use and governance processes and standards- Great relationships developed with stakeholders through working together on shaping requests and understanding what’s possible- Takes #ownership of problems and executes a pragmatic and collaborative approach to their resolution What you’ll bring with you - our wish list!- Strong SQL Skills- Another programming language ( preferably Python)- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience - An understand of the AWS stack (not critical but good to have)- Some statistical knowledge (preferable)- An ability to multitask- An ability to tell stories using modern data analytics and visualisation tools- A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude, exceptionally self-motivated and directed- Competency to translate and present data findings into insights for business decision makers - Strong communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to  translate between business and  technical audiences- Experience in an analyst role or similar field utilising SQL
