Fraud BI / Fraud Data Analyst

Job Description:

• Responsible to fraudulent activities monitoring and analysis, plan, strategize, and grow Shopee's business by enabling data-driven decision-making
• Apply your expertise in data, developing reports, dashboards, and quantitative analysis (Strong SQL and Python)
• Proactively identify fraud trends, understand fraud M.O., how they impact to Shopee business goals/targets and how to prevent it
• Perform ad-hoc analytics/in-depth analysis and qualitatively explain insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Build advanced predictive models to understand the impact of specific fraudulent behaviors, trends, and patterns
• Report periodically to management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in a business intelligence / analytics role preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, a similar quantitative discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Proficiency coding skills for analytics and data manipulation (SQL, Python) >> Excel is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills in order to extract insights and recommendations
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to make inferences from data and devise appropriate course of actions
• Time management to deliver deadlines
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
