The Challenge
Take-Two Interactive, Inc., a leader in the interactive entertainment industry, is looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, analytics. They will manage a team of staff, supporting corporate and label stakeholders, and identifying strategic and tactical opportunities to leverage data that solves for title profit maximization.
What You’ll Take On
- Lead a team of data analysts, data visualization experts, consumer insights researchers, third party vendors, as well as staff focused on operationalizing the group’s analytics and data science product for stakeholders.
- Ensure unification of team’s delivery of product across the spectrum of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Improve the data science team's ability to execute by providing initial analysis, research and data gathering steps.
- Standardize, centralize and develop data visualization for T2 and label executives focusing on sales, marketing and forecasting primarily utilizing Tableau.
- Evaluate novel data sources and vendors - conduct research, due diligence, POCs, go / no go analysis.
- Support interface with data engineering team who collaborate on analytics initiatives.
- Support key stakeholders and initiatives across T2 and labels with data informed analysis and insights to answer key business driven questions.
- Champion the use of data science, machine-learning, and analytics across T2.
- Collaborate with corporate teams and the label business units to create strategies to value and monetize the growth of data that is occurring at T2, build business cases, and spearhead initiatives that focus on monetization of data as an asset.
- Develop strategic models to identify, monitor, and measure results of various consumer-oriented initiatives, identifying KPIs to reflect the health of various T2 products in different segments of the interactive entertainment field.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred with analytical focus
- 10+ years of analytics experience, including positions of increasing responsibility and team management and ideally coming from one of the following industry areas: computer gaming, entertainment/media, retail, or online/e-commerce
- Data mining skills (e.g. SQL, Alteryx, Excel, etc.)
- Data visualization tools for storytelling (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- PMO tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, Monday)
- Consistent track record as a team builder and strategic leader. Ideally has designed, built and managed enterprise-level solutions teams before, and helped lead the development and implementation of an organizational strategy for consumer data and analytics
- Expertise in best-in-class and new technologies in data collection, and data science spaces, with high level of analytical rigor in formulating insights and strategies
- A confident, entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to think logically and make fact-based decisions
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely – to distill clear and simple themes from complex analytical findings
Great to Have:
- Statistical modeling (e.g. time series, regression, ARIMA, etc.) preferred
