Data Scientist

The Data Consulting team at Sertis works on some of the most interesting problems in a variety of different industries such as Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Energy, Finance, Telco, Healthcare providing world-class data science consulting to our clients and internal stakeholders in product development.

You will join our team of Data Scientists and AI Researchers from around the world to solve real-world business decision problems using data. Within the Data Consulting team, you will closely work with other Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Client Solution Consultants.

Our Data Scientist(you) will be: 

• Working with cutting-edge data-driven solutions to client problems
• Data exploration, quality assessment and cleaning
• Implementing predictive statistical, machine learning and optimization models
• Deploying and running models in production
• Evaluating and developing new algorithms and methods
• Improving data science tooling and tech stack with best practices and state-of-the-art solutions
• Understanding clients’ processes and communicating your solutions and results to stakeholders

What you will need: 

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist delivering real-world end-to-end data science projects
• Understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning in a research or consulting basis
• Either strong industry skills or a strong research background
• Degree/Masters/Phd in data science, math, physics, computer science or related fields
• Professional level command and experience in python and SQL or similar
• Passionate about anything and everything data
• Able to share and suggest ideas
• Very open minded (accept criticisms and eager to ask for comments/suggestions)
