SummaryParticipate in managing, updating, and improving the quality of data within salesforce.com. This responsibility requires strong understanding of Salesforce’s data model and APIs, data management concepts and tools as they relate to Salesforce, and operational reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for tactically managing, correcting, and enhancing the quality of customer and prospect data within Salesforce.
• Take a “hands-on” approach to data cleaning and an ownership stake in the overall quality of the prospect and customer data.
• Participate in initiatives to improve the prospect and customer data hierarchy strategy in salesforce.com.
• Identifying and analyzing data quality issues and data integration issues; recommend and implement remediation efforts.
• Managing the de-duplication of Lead, Account, and Contact data.
• Perform regularly scheduled audits of key data and own correction on non-compliant data where necessary.
• Proactively monitor for data issues and improve data quality over time.
• Recommend new quality improvement initiatives based on knowledge of the system and on-going operational needs from the business.
• Enforce and maintain data governance guidelines across the business.
• Engage with third party data vendors when necessary.
• Enhance, load, and migrate data into Salesforce when needed, from a variety of disparate sources and formats.

Knowledge :

• Highly detailed oriented and analytically minded.
• Driven to deliver the highest quality and completeness of data.
• Strong business knowledge of sales, marketing, and support functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of data flows and integrations with various applications, reporting environments, and other data sources to Salesforce; capable of diagramming data flows across system boundaries.
• Track record of operating data quality frameworks and procedures to improve data quality across the organization.
• Proven analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Proficient with SQL queries and capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of the standard Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud data models, as well as how custom objects are created and interface with the standard data model.
• Working knowledge of and ability to explain technical concepts of various salesforce.com APIs relevant to data management.
• Advanced working knowledge of scripting and ability to write code for data deduplication, i.e. python, SQL, plus SFDC application knowledge.

Must Have :

• Background in data integrity and stewardship
• Data ingestion
• Experience with Billing systems.

Nice to have :

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with BRM (Oracle Billing & Revenue Management systems)
• Master Data Management (MDM)
