Senior Product Manager- Data Science Platforms

About the Role
The Data Science Platform tackles MLOps, for context, this is also when the KubeFlow project began. This forward thinking decision has led to the creation of multiple groundbreaking open source contributions to the MLOps community including Feast, Merlin and Turing. As Gojek continues to invest in our ML platform, we are looking for product managers who are excited to build new products for the ML community to join us. We are building a Machine Learning platform to help data science teams run at scale without needing deep engineering expertise.
The Product Manager will drive the roadmap for our Machine Learning Platform. You will be playing a crucial role that defines DS workflows, data processing/analysis techniques, experimentation measurements, and be at the centre of working with business, product, data science, engineering, analytics & research teams, to deliver features that delight our users and drive business growth.

What You Will Do

• Define and drive the roadmap for machine learning platform across the company that supports Gojek’s philosophy of iterative product mindset, while prioritizing for business needs and impact
• Establish MLOps workflows and processes to get the best use of the ML platform with the aim of reducing onboarding friction and improving time to market for DS solutions.
• Partner and collaborate with data science, engineering & analytics teams to gather feedback and user requirements for the platform. 
• Achieve product-market fit and drive adoption across data science teams in Gojek
• Define product metrics that measure the product success, and report progress to key stakeholders
• Evaluate the product capabilities against industry leaders and peers. Suggest new technologies and best practices to trial.
• Ensure our product strategy and implementation reflects the latest thinking in the DS/ML community 

What You Will Need

• Strong Product Management experience, ideally in a similar platform based team
• Consulting experience is a strong plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment where business needs and organizational structures are rapidly evolving. Believe in Getting Things Done and willing to work across organizational boundaries to make it happen.
• Experience running Agile processes
• Ability to work with uncertainty and vaguely defined requirements. MLOps is still nascent - most will ask for a faster horse, you need to suggest building a car.
• Comfortable transitioning from high-level strategic thinking to execution
• You are a self starter, you love to understand systems inside out, and make it your mission to deliver quality products.
• Strong communication skills. You know how to build trust, set goals, and get things done.

About the Team
Gojek’s Data Science Platform team is unique in its charter as an enabler of Data Science and Machine Learning systems at production scale in a hyper-growth decacorn. We are a growing team of about 15 ML and infrastructure engineers, spread across multiple time zones. You may know us as the creators of open-source ML ops technologies such as Feast, Merlin, and Turing, and internal tools such as Clockwork. Our products are used in mission-critical parts of Gojek’s product offerings, such as dynamic pricing, driver allocation, food recommendations, and fraud prevention.
