Job summary
The AWS AI/ML Seattle Office Admin Assistant will support the AWS Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning organization (AI/ML). The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information. We're looking for an effective and clear communicator and someone who demonstrates the ability to shift priorities quickly.

Key job responsibilities
*Organize, execute, and assist with AWS AI/ML team activities in the Seattle office, including, but not limited to: team events, town halls, in-person customer meetings, escorting candidates for executive interviews, etc.

* Work with the AI/ML space team and Global Real Estate and Facilities to audit desk assignments and organize of team moves to ensure appropriate space utilization in Seattle.

*Assist with maintaining organized and clean storage in the Seattle office, including swag and snack boxes.

* Assist with executive requests onsite, including printing, onsite meeting logistics, catering, etc.

*High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

*Support team building and morale in the Seattle office.

*Occasionally provide calendar and administrative support to cover when executive assistants are on PTO or leave.

* Assist senior managers with complex meeting scheduling, event planning, or travel.

Basic Qualifications


*High school or equivalent diploma

*3+ years of work experience in an administrative/ office management capacity

*3+ years of experience using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn other productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

*Bachelor’s degree

*Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills

*High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

*Experience working with senior leadership

*Experience working in a technical and/or global organization

*Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

*Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personas from senior leaders to customers to other administrative professionals
