Position Summary:   PointClickCare is seeking a Business Data Analyst (Level II) in our Enterprise Solutions and Applications (ESA) team. The ESA team partners with other teams across the business to turn data into information, information into insights and insights into key business decisions that steer the strategic direction of the companies critical business lifecycles.  Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysts, the successful candidate will be an individual with strong business and technical aptitude, problem-solving skills with a focus on operational analysis and presentation of results, attention to detail, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work in a fast past environment. The right individual for this role loves problem-solving and is a strong verbal and written communicator. This individual will design innovative approaches to extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop recommendations to drive business automation. Success in this role is defined by gaining the business’ confidence that you are their trusted advocate who can tap into proper Enablement resources to drive timely solutions, and that you thoroughly understand the business need, data, and technology to support them effectively. Key Responsibilities:·       Maintain the enterprise business data architecture in collaboration with and in support of the enterprise business systems landscapeo   In collaboration with the Business Systems Manager team, design and produce the applicable roadmap(s) of data management·       Document and maintain the end-to-end business data-flow catalog for any given business lifecycle, including but not limited to procure to pay, quote to cash, hire to retire, etc.    Identify critical relationships across systems, gaps and/or areas of risk, including any mitigation solutions·       Document and maintain the Data Service Catalog for best-practice delivery playbooks and standards, including but not limited to process management, system user access/persona, and release management·       Support business data critical initiatives and related requirement development, providing guidance on upstream and downstream impacts, including any risk mitigation solutions, and the necessary implementation workstreams and success criteria·       Partner with Enterprise Applications team, providing guidance and support on dataflow, migration and data integrity best practiceso   Provide support in existing and new system integrations; provide support to maintain the Enterprise Integrations Catalogo   Provide support in existing and new systems events (new system acquisitions, integrations, 3rd party tools, new release capabilities and/or upgrades, etc.)·       Partner with the EDA and Data Intelligence team, providing support to the enterprise data repositories and constructs, including but not limited to business data dictionaries, reporting and analytical capabilitieso   Provide support on the design, business value and implementation of in-system vs. Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting capabilitieso   Provide support applicable in the enterprise data governance programs, promoting the value (and accountability) of data stewardship and/vs. data integrityo   Provide support with 3rd party data providers, including but not limited to cleansing, adjudication, and enrichmento   Promote the enterprise-wide common catalog of metrics and KPIs toward high-performance insights·       Partner with any other OCIO (or Enablement) teams to support in any enterprise infrastructure or architecture programs, including but not limited to TSS in user management, Security, & Trust in access and risk management, and audit, Business Continuity Planning (BPC), etc. Required Experience: ·       Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience ·       Direct experience as a Business Systems and Data Analyst, with progressive success in multiple environments and/or programso   Experience in complex cross-functional enterprise-level projects; value and digital transformation projects a pluso   Experience in critical business processes including, or in equivalent to, lead to cash, hire to retire and go-to-market programs a plus·       Direct experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation·       Direct experience in Agile methodologies including project management, iterative design, build and delivery ·       Ability to effectively communicate and drive cross-functional change with a sense of urgency·       Persuasive and credible presentation and facilitation skills; ability to influence and negotiate ·       Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skillsIt is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
