Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is actively seeking a Business Support Intern for the Data & Analytics department who will support business objectives related to solutions deployed by the Data & Analytics department.
What you'll do:
The Business Support Intern will work closely with the Privacy and Governance Specialist and will assist in providing support to initiatives related to data policy, governance, privacy and education. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong knowledge of business and some technical knowledge, and holds the ability to quickly understand complex concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong communication skills and will be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Work with privacy and governance specialist to support documentation of privacy and governance framework
• Work with privacy and governance specialist toward education initiatives for the Data & Analytics Team and the broader company
• Work on organizational and marketing initiatives related to Geotab's Data Bootcamp
• Collaborate with team members to gain an understanding of Geotab's data ecosystem

What you’ll bring to this role:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Business or a related field
• Experience bridging the gap between business and technology
• Big data skills an asset
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain progress with little supervision
• Strong time management skills
• Passion for innovation and technology
• Previous industry work experience preferred
• Ping Pong and Foosball skills always a plus
