RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the client architect and the amazon team to create the infrastructure needed for the Data Lake
  • Extract different projects’ data and dump it into the Lake
  • Data governance policies implementation
  • Create different layers of data transformation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have: 
  • Experience with big data technologies on AWS for data storage, data streaming, and ETL, such as AWS Athena, AWS Glue, Redshift
  • Strong Python skills
  • Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

  • Nice to have: 
  • AWS EMR (AWS Kinesis)
  • Familiarity with data Warehousing like snowflake and ETL tools like DBT
  • AWS Lake Formation for Data Governance
  • PySpark
