Job Description

Western digital is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data team  with focus on Power BI reporting and analysis experience which would be a significant part of the data transformation of the company  to address business challenges and revenue maximization.

In this role, you will work closely with business crews, sales managers to understand the requirements and build reports using analytics tools mainly Power BI , you will be part of the Data Platform team and work with the Data Engineers

Job responsibility includes:

• Understand the analytics requirements and convert them into dashboard and clear call to action via Power BI
• Migration of exiting reports which are Tableau into Power BI
• Come with clear call to action for sales management
• Reporting and analysis for management - present meaningful insights, recommendations, and conclusions.
• Lead end-to-end analysis of sales business processes and operational performance and support rapid growth opportunities.
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify patterns or trends from multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and program managers to create strategic architecture and vision for our group charter
• Partner with sales managers focusing on sales process optimization
• Become an expert in our existing systems in order to innovate on their further improvement

Qualifications

• At least 3 + years of work experience as a Data/Product/Business Analyst
• BA/B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, Mathematics, Statistics and financial or equivalent.
• Proven experience in creating dashboards and anaysis in Power BI
• Sharp, data-driven, and creative with outstanding analytical skills.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities.
• SQL skill – simple queries
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
• Experience in a Data visualization in Power BI- Must
• Experience in a Data visualization tool -Tableau-  advantage
• Tableau-  big advantage
• Jira, Salesforce- advantage
