About the Role

The Data Sourcing Specialist requirements include sourcing and obtaining various memberships, relationships, 3rd party applications, access points and information needed throughout Tekion. The Data Sourcing Specialist must use new or existing relationships to ensure all information required by Tekion is sourced externally and internally quickly and reliably for various teams, including Retail, Fixed Ops, Accounting, CRM, etc. This individual also completes ad hoc and advanced Company tasks and projects as assigned.  The individual will need to work with other team members and Management as needed to meet partner expectations. Additional responsibilities will include partner & dealership interactions; and creating documentation for communicating process flows, tracking progress toward goals, summarizing sourced information, and reporting out to all levels of Tekion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successful candidate will work with internal Tekion stakeholders to understand what type(s) of information and relationships are needed and identify where they can be sourced in-house or externally.
  • Successful candidate will stay involved in product and strategy meetings to better anticipate and identify current & future information and sourcing needs.
  • Proactively develop the necessary relationships, internally and externally, to obtain needed access, information and integrations.
  • Identify potential external partners and lead the charge alongside Tekion stakeholders to move the relationship forward from discovery to agreement.
  • Communicate daily with internal and external parties to maintain relationships and move initiatives forward.
  • Track all initiatives within internal applications.
  • Report out on progress to Tekion stakeholders regularly.
  • Complete all assigned projects on time and within established SLAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field 
  • Proficiency with MS office
  • MS Excel expertise is preferred
  • Experience within multiple areas of dealership is preferred (Sales, Fixed Ops, etc.)
  • Prior procurement-type experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing and relationship-building individual preferred 
  • Be organized and adaptable to an ever-changing and fast-moving field
  • Must be a team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Keeps an entrepreneurial mindset, deep curiosity, and a passion for learning & growth
  • Comfortable managing and reporting on multiple projects concurrently
  • An agile worker who can adapt to shifting business needs in a fast-growing environment
