 About Data & Analytics at iCapital:  

The Product & Technology department includes multiple teams dedicated to creating an industry-leading platform that manages the full lifecycle of alternative investments. We are looking for outstanding data scientists who can help drive iCapital’s firmwide data science platform.. . 

As part of the Data & Analytics team, some areas of responsibility may include: 

• Leveraging open-source technologies and cloud solutions to build elegant features that our clients will love. 
• Developing and automating large scale, high-performing data platform infrastructure to drive iCapital’s business growth and enable data-driven organization.
• Streamlining the ingestion of raw data from various sources into our Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
• Designing data models for optimal storage and retrieval that represent the product entities and meet business requirements.
• Performing data cleansing and transformation, as well as create predictive and classification models.
• Creating data-driven insights for our shareholders using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• You will build recommendation engines and impact measurement tools for Sales and Marketing to increase impact and operational effectiveness across the customer journey
• You will also build, test, and scale statistical and machine learning models that measure and amplify impact across the entire advertiser journey from acquisition to growth and retention 

The ideal candidate is... 

• Familiar with SQL, Python, or Pytorch
• Familiar with clustering techniques and recommendation engine frameworks
• Familiar with Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks
• Have past work or internship experience using data science tools in a corporate environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals, strengthening relationships to achieve win-win solutions
• Ability to look at things differently, debug, troubleshoot, design, and implement solutions to technical issues
• Possesses foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable to take on new responsibilities and be detail oriented
• Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program in computer science (or related major)
• Strong in verbal and written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States*
