TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Data Modeling: Design and develop robust and scalable Power BI data models that accurately represent the underlying e-commerce data. Optimize data models for performance and efficiency.
• Report Development: Create advanced Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to the specific needs of sales teams. Incorporate interactive visualizations, KPIs, and drill-down functionality to enable deep analysis of e-commerce performance.
• E-commerce Analytics: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful metrics and insights. Develop measures, calculations, and DAX expressions to support complex e-commerce sales analytics.
• Data Integration: Work closely with data engineers and data architects to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce data sources into the Power BI environment. Implement data transformations and cleansing as needed.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and data models. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve query performance and report rendering speed.
• Documentation and Training: Document data models, report designs, and development processes. Provide training and support to sales teams on using Power BI reports effectively to drive decision-making.
• Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Power BI development, data modeling, and e-commerce analytics. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology preferred.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a focus on e-commerce sales analytics.
• Excellent English skills both in spoken and written form. Minimum B2 degree of competence in language.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M Query.
• Advanced computer literacy is required, specifically MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying mandatory.
• Excellent analytic problem solving & critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and constant change.
• Ability to prepare and present professional content to face-to-face and remote audiences.
• Ability to lead teleconferences in an international context.
