The role

As a Senior Customer Data Analyst, you will own customer relationships and help these customers better understand the unique digital engagement data that our platform generates that informs our ability to create engaging products and features that improve the health outcomes of our users. In this role, you will use in-depth analysis and governance of business intelligence, to depict the value of the League platform to enable and drive improvements to the customer experience and engagement that lead to improved patient health outcomes! You will surface key performance indicators with visual analytics platforms like Looker and Amplitude and work closely with other data analysts, engineers and scientists on the team to support the data models underlying the visual analysis dashboards/tools.

Furthermore, you have experience in tying numbers to a larger, more strategic, business context. You enjoy communicating with non-technical stakeholders, using the art of converting simple questions into complex analysis and translating them back into meaningful and actionable insights.


In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide insights through analysis to help inform decisions in all parts of the business, including Product Management, Marketing, and Health Care
  • Support League’s customers in using our data to unlock insights on their end users using your expertise with data models and BI, managing data dictionaries, and deep dive and Q&A sessions
  • Act as a SME for all things related to Reporting; guide users to the right set of KPIs and provide clarity on their meaning
  • Develop analytics strategies and frameworks to monitor and analyze product performance and business KPIs related to application usage, and user engagement & conversion
  • Work with data analysts, data engineers and data scientists on data requirements, reporting and forecasting of metrics and building out visualizations and data value stories
  • Regularly conduct data quality audits and analysis to ensure the accuracy of data & reports sent to customers, in particular of the client events (ie clickstream data) generated by user button clicks and screen loads within the app

What you bring:

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with a modern ETL framework
  • Experience working as a data analyst, data scientist or analytics engineer
  • Experience building dashboards on Looker or other similar visual analytics platforms
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, internal and external stakeholders with demonstrated ability to manage expectations
  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in business administration, statistics, computer science or similarly quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience as a Product (Data) Analyst or working on Product Analytics
  • Data analysis and data manipulation in Python (Pandas, PySpark, etc)
  • Healthcare industry experience

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience.
