Hadrian builds software-defined high precision component factories for the top aerospace companies in the world. After a successful customer beta phase, we are substantially scaling our operations to our second factory (based in Torrance) and are in the final stretch of building our core software engineering and product team from whom the future of Hadrian will be built upon. This team will leverage various current and advanced technologies and build custom in house software solutions to help improve, automate and scale the future of manufacturing in the U.S.
We are in search of individuals with the drive to augment manufacturing, helping enable our engineers build complex, yet elegant software as well as the machinists who have a passion to push the trade forward.
We've raised >$200m to achieve this vision, with multiple rounds from Lux Capital, A16Z, Founders Fund, Construct Capital, Caffeinated Capital and more.
Role Overview
As an analytics engineer you’ll be responsible for building internal data products that scale analytics across business teams and drive efficiencies in our day-to-day operations and strategic decisions. You’ll work with large sets of data and turn them into operational dashboards for all internal stakeholders.
Examples of possible building KPI dashboards, building Data validation and ensuring that data is correctly transmitting from our operating platform into our financials.
You will be challenged to think creatively and solve complex data integration problems. You will work cross functionally with production experts, software engineers, and machining specialists to develop novel solutions working toward fully automated factories.
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

In this role you will:
- Support the development of data products and tools to facilitate self-service and enable analytics to scale across the company
- Understand the data needs of Finance teams, including Revenue, Infrastructure, Strategic Finance and Corporate Accounting, and translate that scope into technical requirements
- Upholding high data integrity standards and SLAs for timely delivery of data
- Build dashboards that make data digestible and actionable
- Will report to our Director of Finance and work along side our Data Science leadership / team
- Own the KPI process collection and reporting and visualization process

- Can work from our Los Angeles Factory (Torrance)
Preferred Qualities / Admired Skills:
- Baseline understanding of Finance and Accounting
- Insistence on data integrity
- Strong proficiency in SQL, comfortable in at least one programming language such as Python, R, or Julia
- Comfortable with data modeling tools like DBT or Airflow or Dagster
- Experience with building operational and executive dashboards
