Description

The Data Integrations Product Manager shapes and executes the strategic vision for ingesting data from a diverse range of healthcare data sources, including health records, prescriptions, laboratory data, claims and medical devices. They own the roadmap and define the requirements for each stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring seamless and efficient integration of source systems. They work cross functionally with our Clinical Informatics, data science and engineering partners to bring robust support for these data to the Precision Health Platform. Their work is essential for enabling Verily solutions to gain insight from individual health data to support precision care and achieve research objectives. Their domain expertise drives selection of quality vendors and effective execution of integrations to support key Verily product initiatives.

Responsibilities 

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and requirements across the full product lifecycle for Verily’s health records, prescriptions, laboratory and medical device integrations
  • Define the product strategy for which data integrations provide the highest quality signal in support of Verily’s care and research solutions. 
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and vendor offerings. Manage third party vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the product, including architecture decisions, technology selection, and integration approaches.  
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholder communications related to data integrations. Engage with subject matter experts, engineers, senior management, external partners, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate new capabilities.

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of hand on experience in leading data integrations for a provider, payor or health information exchange organization.
  • Product management experience developing and launching products including at least one of: EHR integrations, claims management, prescription fulfillment, health information exchange, medical device integration.
  • Experience leading engineers to build technical products.
  • Experience leading cross-organization efforts with stakeholders from many different functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating with vendors like Datavant, 1upHealth, Particle, Surescripts, Health Gorilla, Redox, Validic, Human API.
  • Experience with FHIR, HL7.
  • Experience as a software engineer, data architect, data engineer or similar technology background.
  • Experience in healthcare, health research, life sciences, or similar industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $217,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
